Vedang Raina shares his experience of working with Alia Bhatt in Jigra

Alia Bhatt's film Jigra is a topic of much discussion these days. Vedang Raina will also be seen with Alia in the film in which he will play the role of the actress' brother. Meanwhile, Vedang Raina shared his experience of working with Alia in the film Jigra.

Vedang Raina spoke on working with Alia

Vedang Raina shared his experience of working with Alia Bhatt in the film Jigra and said, "We have different approaches when it comes to acting and I have learned a lot from her. I was just amazed at how she was approaching things and with such determination. I shot my first scene with her and I immediately realized why she was where she was. Even when I was not shooting, I would go to the set and see what she was doing".

Everything kept changing in the scenes- Vedang Raina 

The actor also talked about the contrasting directing styles of Zoya Akhtar and Vasan Bala. He told how Vasan Bala asked him to improvise on the first day of shooting and gave him new lines on the spot. He said, "Everything kept changing in the scenes. We were shooting and it kept changing. I realized that you can't be rigid on Vasan sir's set. He believes that things flow naturally on set. I became comfortable improvising".

Vedang Raina spoke about his fame 

Vedang also spoke about the fame he received after the release of The Archies and his upcoming film. He stressed on the importance of staying grounded even as his career progresses, saying, "If even one person on the street recognizes me, it is all new for me. I never thought in my life that this would happen. It takes some time to get used to all these things. Your life also changes. What I realized and what has been my first learning is to always be yourself. Because given the nature of the industry, there will be a lot of changes around you. You have to maintain your identity. You cannot forget your identity amidst all this. It was shocking for many months. Now, six months later, I have become a little used to it."

Jigra will release on October 11 

The story of the film Jigra focuses on a daring jailbreak attempt. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film stars Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina and Aditya Nanda in the lead roles with a screenplay written by Bala and Debashish Irengbam. It is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Alia Bhatt's Eternal Sunshine Productions. Jigra is set to release in theaters on October 11, 2024.
