It is just a cosmetic thing. It is not something that can change the direction of your life. We make it a big issue because it is something that is everywhere, but I never made it a big issue in reality". The series is based on a real-life incident In 1999, an Indian airliner IC 814 was hijacked by a group of five masked Pakistani terrorists, members of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HuM), while flying from Nepal to New Delhi. They ordered the plane to be flown to several locations, and eventually to Kandahar, which was under the control of the Taliban at the time. Without giving away potential spoilers, the outcome of that hijacking completely changed the direction of terrorism in India.
