BJP did not make Madhuri Dixit, Sunny Deol, Kirron Kher, Jaya Prada, or Pawan Singh its candidates, know why?
Now that the battle of elections has started, more and more all the electoral parties have announced the names of their candidates for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections. We remember some film stars about whom it was said that they were going to contest elections on the ticket of the country's main ruling party (BJP). Now it is almost clear that they have been eliminated from the election field, they have been declared a scam. Let us see what the reason is behind their moving away from the election field-
Madhuri Dixit:
Madhuri Dixit's name may have been in a stronger position than Kangana Ranaut in the list of possible candidates in BJP's election discussion. Everyone was assuming that Madhuri's contest meant a sure-shot victory! The meeting between Madhuri Dixit and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Dada Pawar in November at the time of the Word Cup cricket match had indicated that Madhuri Dixit would contest the elections on the BJP-backed NCP ticket or by directly joining the BJP. But, now it has become clear that this is not happening. There was talk of fielding Madhuri from the Mumbai North West seat from where film star Sunil Dutt once used to contest elections from the Congress Party seat. In the ticket distribution, the matter of whose quota that seat would be in BJP-Shiv Sena (Shinde)-NCP spoiled the game. Because there is a candidate from Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) in opposition from here. There is a subdued discussion that Madhuri Dixit was facing a religious crisis due to her closeness to Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray). Madhuri Dixit has a family relationship with Balasaheb Thackeray's maternal house. Madhuri Dixit found it difficult to decide with whom to side with a component of NCP moving towards Shiv Sena (Shinde). She was hesitant to leave Uddhav Shiv Sena and join Shinde Shiv Sena. Therefore, she thought it better to say that she is 'not made for politics, she only wants to remain an artiste'.
Sunny Deol:
For Gurudaspur (Punjab) sitting MP Sunny Deol, posters regarding his disappearance were put up in his constituency six months ago. That is, he had little contact with the people there. After the success of 'Gadar 2', when Sunny Deol was being discussed all around, Sunny had clearly said that he would increase his pace in films because this is where he feels. During his tenure, Sunny directed a film with his son and continued shooting for Gadar 2. He is doing two more films, one of which is the film 'Lahore 1947' with Amir Khan. Sunny Deol himself wanted to distance himself from politics. That's why his party BJP did not even ask him for his name.
Jaya Prada:
Jayaprada has long experience in politics. She was first in NTR/Chandrababu Naidu's party, then joined SP and Amar Singh's party, and is now a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. Many court cases have been registered against her in Rampur (Uttar Pradesh) and Azamgarh. Some time ago, a summons 'Jayaprada Hazir Ho' was issued against her. In such a situation, BJP has removed Jaya Prada's card without any consultation. She has stayed away from the elections.
Kirron Kher:
Bharatiya Janata Party's Member of Parliament from Chandigarh Kirron Kher has been unwell for a long time. She has to go to America for treatment. Kirron Kher had already informed the party citing health reasons that she no longer wants to be active in politics. BJP has fielded another candidate for that seat.
Pawan Singh:
Bharatiya Janata Party had announced the names of four Bhojpuri stars in its first list released for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, and Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua were already MPs, they were asked to contest from their seats. But, Pawan Singh was declared a candidate for the first time on the party ticket, he was ordered to contest from Asansol in Bengal. Shatrughan Sinha is the MP of 'TMC' on the seat there and he is the candidate of Mamata Banerjee's party TMC. Pawan has announced not to contest the elections from there. He was hopeful that the party would give him a ticket from his home town Arrah. But this did not happen. Pawan Singh is ready to contest the elections but NDA has not made him a candidate from anywhere else. Gave a ticket to RK Singh on Arrah's seat.
Pawan Singh has said that he will contest the elections. Pawan Singh, who is determined to contest the elections, is preparing to become a candidate from Karakat in Bihar. But NDA has fielded another candidate from here also. Pawan wants to fight from another political party but India Alliance has also made someone else the joint candidate here. It is understood that Pawan Singh will contest the elections as an independent.
