It will see the return of all the popular characters of the show Abhishek Tripathi aka Secretary Ji (Jitendra Kumar), Brij Bhushan Dubey aka Pradhan Pati (Raghubir Yadav), Manju Devi (Neena Gupta), Prahlad (Faisal Malik), Vikas Shukla (Chandan Roy), Rinki (Samvika), Bhushan (Durgesh Kumar), Binod (Ashok Pathak) and Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar). Pankaj Jha, who plays the role of a sly MLA, will also have an important role. Apart from this, Swanand Kirkire, who played the role of an MP in a scene in season 3, is expected to play an important role this time too".

The producers are working hard on the script for season 4

The reports further stated "The makers are aware of the huge expectations from the Panchayat series. It is a rare web show that is suitable for the entire family and hence, receives viewing from audiences of all ages. All the seasons so far have been satisfactory and the makers have worked hard on the script of season 4 to ensure that it is loved by fans".

The story of the series will be centered around Panchayat elections

Not only this, reportedly, viewers are anticipating that many unresolved mysteries of the previous season, such as who attacked Pradhan ji and whether Abhishek will finally pass the CAT exam or not, should be resolved in the upcoming season. Additionally, Panchayat 4 will be centered around the Panchayat elections, a crucial occasion that will elect the new Pradhan of Phulera Gram Panchayat. It is being speculated that the new characters added in the last season will contribute significantly to the plot.

'Panchayat' series to premiere in 2020
