Story of the film

Manu (Taapsee Pannu), Balli (Anil Grover), and Buggu (Vikram Kochhar) are 20-somethings like Laltu who live in less affluent families. They wish to move to greener pastures for better financial opportunities. It is becoming difficult for these three to get their visas approved. Hardy (Shahrukh Khan) comes into their lives like a breath of fresh air and fulfills his promise to take them to London through illegal means. The story that follows emphasizes the struggle they go through in the so-called 'greener pastures'.

Why to watch Dunki

When Rajkumar Hirani makes a film with Shahrukh Khan, Dunki is the result you get. Rajkumar Hirani has brilliantly conceptualized a film, harnessing the strengths of his actors, while also telling a very honest and real story of a group of friends who travel through an illegal route known as the Donkey Road. Through this, they decide to go abroad for better opportunities. The mix of comedy and emotions works wonders, enabling the film to make you laugh and cry at the same time. The best thing about Dunki is that the hero is not only in sync with the other actors but also lets them shine in every scene, making the overall movie experience very wholesome and rich. Everything from the acting to the direction, cinematography, music, background music, and production design deserves endless praise.

The negative point of Dunki

Dunki has some patches of 2 hours and 40 minutes that are slow. Cutting off about 10-12 minutes would have enhanced the impact of the film. Some comedic scenes are not as effective as they were intended to be. And, the script could run with a little more coherence.

Role of actors in Dunki

Shahrukh Khan looks as remarkable as Hardy. He brings charm and charisma to his character. His courtroom monologue is probably the best scene of his 4-decade long career. In short, actor Shahrukh Khan takes full responsibility for his character.

Taapsee Pannu is excellent. The confidence reflected in her performance is infectious. Manu's character will shine in her already deep filmography.

Vicky Kaushal in his extended appearance, confirms that the future of the Indian film industry is in safe hands. It is adorable to watch Anil Grover and Vikram Kochhar as Balli and Buggu. They enhance the film with their magical presence. They will stay with you long after the film. From Boman Irani to Deven Bhojwani, every other supporting actor has been used very well in the film.

How many stars for the film Dunki

Shahrukh Khan's film has left a different impression on the hearts of the fans. The film has received 4.5 stars from the Mayapuri Group. This means that the film was successful in touching our hearts as well. On behalf of the entire Mayapuri Group, we wish many congratulations to Shahrukh Khan for the film Dunki. This film will be successful in breaking all the records at the box office.
