On this Teacher's Day, Siddhant Issar, who stars as the Devil in Star Bharat's Shaitani Rasmein, reveals his deep admiration for Salman Khan, whom he considers his Guru, much like Eklavya revered Dronacharya. Siddhant shares that while his father, Puneet Issar, is his first teacher, Salman Khan's influence on his life has been profound, shaping his dedication and values.
Siddhant shares his story of devotion saying,
"Salman Khan is my Guru and Teacher, much like how Eklavya revered Dronacharya. Though I haven't worked with or been mentored by Salman Sir, I consider him my teacher because of the life lessons I've learned from observing him. He taught me that family comes first—his love and respect for his parents and how he carries himself around loved ones have left a lasting impression on me. His dedication to fitness, no matter the circumstances, inspires me to stay strong and consistent.”
He adds "My father, Puneet Issar, is my first guru. At 66, he still works 18-hour days, teaching me that there's no substitute for hard work. He trained me in speech and diction from a young age, giving me a strong command over Hindi and Urdu—skills that have given me an edge in historical and mythological roles. Even my role as Mallik in Shaitani Rasmien has shades of the villain he portrayed in Ashaant back in 1993. A teacher is anyone you learn from, and I've always done that from both my father and Salman Sir."
Tune in to Star Bharat to watch Shaitani Rasmein, Monday to Saturday at 10 PM sharp.
