Sun Neo Stars Sara Khan, Kamya Panjabi & Sangita Ghosh Reflect on Republic Day

As India celebrates its 76th Republic Day, stars from Sun Neo’s popular shows Chatti Maiyya Ki Bitiya, Ishq Jabariya, and Saajha Sindoor reflect on its significance. Known for their powerful performances, these actors remind us of the values that make our nation strong.

Actors Who Showcase the Strength and Values of India

Sara Khan, who plays Goddess Kritikayein in Sun Neo's Chatti Maiyya Ki Bitiya, shares, “Republic Day honors the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. Rani Lakshmibai inspires me for her courage and determination. Recently, I represented India at the Namaste Vietnam Festival, a proud moment for me.”

Kamya Panjabi, who portrays Mohini in Sun Neo's Ishq Jabariya, says, “Republic Day reminds us of the strength of our democracy but also makes me question if we truly live by our Constitution’s ideals. Patriotism means standing up for what’s right and addressing issues like corruption and injustice.”

Chatti Maiyya Ki Bitiya follows Vaishnavi (Brinda Dahal), an orphan who sees Chatti Maiyya as her mother. Ishq Jabariya tells the story of Gulki (Siddhi Sharma) and her struggles to achieve her dreams. Saajha Sindoor depicts Phooli (Stuti Vinkle), who is labeled an unmarried widow after her groom dies on their wedding day.
