Andhar Maya ZEE5 Thriller Unravels a Horrifying Mystery, Premieres 30th May Exclusively

Not every homecoming is heartwarming – and some doors shouldn’t be left open. ZEE5’s first Marathi horror original series, Andhar Maya, is a spine-chilling, ride. That’s what you’ll feel after watching the horrifying trailer. Directed by National Award winner Bhimrao Mude, produced by Sharmishtha Raut and Tejas Desai under Ericon Telefilms, with story and dialogues by Prahlad Kudtarkar and screenplay by Kapil Bhopatkar, the series stars two-time National Award winner and powerhouse Kishor Kadam in a role shrouded in mystery. Focusing on a family that returns to their ancestral home where the past does not allow them to live comfortably, Andher Maya is a terrifying exploration of the hidden horrors of Konkan. Set to keep the audience captivated with its mystery, atmosphere and emotion, the show will premiere on 30th May exclusively on ZEE5.

Hidden in the misty, dark, haunted and eerie sounds of Konkan, lies an ancestral wada where the Khatu family is drawn back for their final rituals. As the shadows move and the past replaces the present, a series of horrific events unravel their reality. As the ghost's grip tightens, family members begin to disappear with the passage of time. Is the house getting its due, or is something more sinister at play?
