Kalpana Raghavendar Health Update: Popular Telugu playback singer Kalpana Raghavendar allegedly tried to commit suicide. After which the police found Kalpana Raghavendra unconscious in her bedroom after consuming several sleeping pills. Initially, many people including her neighbors in the gated community suspected that it was a suicide attempt. Meanwhile, now Kalpana Raghavendra's daughter has clarified the situation and requested the media not to spread misinformation.

Kalpana Raghavendar's Daughter Clarifies Health Rumors

Let us tell you that the daughter of playback singer Kalpana Raghavendar addressed the press and told the real reason behind the incident. She said, "My mother is absolutely fine and healthy now. My mother is currently doing LLB and PhD, due to which she has insomnia. The doctor gave her a pill due to insomnia and she consumed it in excess. This is not an attempt to commit suicide. Excessive consumption of pills is due to normal stress. Please do not manipulate any information. Our family is absolutely fine".

Kalpana Raghavendar Requests Media to Avoid Misinformation

Kalpana Raghavendra while requesting the media said, "I request the media not to manipulate the information. Everything is fine in our family. Everyone is fine. My mother will come back to you all in a few days. That's all I want to say. Please do not spread panic by manipulating the information. Thank you".

Kalpana Raghavendar Denies Suicide Attempt, Clarifies Incident

On the other hand, Kalpana herself responded to the ongoing rumours through a police note. The note stated, "I did not attempt suicide. I was unable to sleep due to some misunderstandings with my daughter. I was unable to sleep, which forced me to take more sleeping pills than prescribed". The Kukatpally Housing Board police also released a statement confirming that there was no foul play. According to their press note, "Kalpana did not attempt suicide and no one else is responsible for this incident. She accidentally took an overdose of sleeping pills, which led to this situation".

Police Clarify Kalpana Raghavendar’s Family Situation

The police also gave information about Kalpana Raghavendra's personal life. They said, "Kalpana has been living in Hyderabad with her husband for the last five years. Recently, she had some differences with her daughter Daya Prasad regarding her education. Due to this, Kalpana returned alone to her home in Hyderabad. The statement said that her husband Prasad tried to call her several times, but when she did not pick up the phone, he contacted the colony welfare members. 

Kalpana Raghavendar’s Musical Legacy and Background

Kalpana Raghavendra comes from a family of musicians. Her father, T.S. Raghavendra, was a playback singer, composer and actor. Her mother, Sulochana, is also a singer and her sister, Shekinah Shaun, is an opera singer. She trained in Carnatic music under Madurai T. Srinivasan and holds a master's degree in computer applications.
