Let us tell you that Shah Rukh Khan shared a video on social media. Sharing this video, the actor wrote, "Thank you for honoring me with the National Award. Thank you, jury and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Thank you, Government of India, for this honor. I am overwhelmed by the love showered on me. Half hug to everyone today..." In the video, the actor was seen wearing a sling on his right hand due to a recent injury, in which he gave his reaction on winning the National Award. The actor said, "Needless to say, I am overwhelmed with gratitude, pride, and humility. Being honored with the National Award is a moment that I will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you very much to the jury, chairman, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and all those who considered me worthy of this honor."
King Khan spoke about his colleagues
While specially thanking his colleagues, Shah Rukh Khan said, "I want to thank all my directors and writers, especially for the year 2023. So, thanks to Raju Sir, Sid, and especially, Atlee Sir and his team for giving me the opportunity in Jawaan and trusting me and doing well. Atlee Sir, this is like saying 'mass'!"

Shah Rukh also thanked his team. He further said, "I want to thank my team and management who work tirelessly. They tolerate my eccentricities and impatience and give me their full attention, which makes me look much better than I actually am. Along with this, Shah Rukh further said, "My wife and children, who have given me so much love and affection in the last few years, as if I am the child of the house and want only the best for me. They know that my passion for cinema takes me away from them, but they all bear it with a smile and give me time.

Shah Rukh Khan thanked the Indian government for the honour. He said, "Thank you for all your happiness and tears, and thank you for stopping scrolling to see me speak. This award is for you, like every award is. Yes, I would love to spread my arms and share my love, but I am a little unwell. But don't worry! Just keep the popcorn ready. I will be back in the theatres and on the screen soon." He then gave his signature spread-arm pose, with just one arm extended forward.
'Jawaan' was released in the year 2023
Jawaan is a 2023 Indian action thriller film co-written and directed by Atlee, marking his first Hindi film.[3] It is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan as a father and son who are lookalikes, who work together to reform corruption in society. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra appear in supporting roles. The film, made with a budget of ₹300 crore, collected a whopping ₹1148.32 crore.
